Inspection and Safety Services
Rigging and Stage Safety Inspections for School and College Theaters and any civic, town, or historical venue where a stage may be located.
The standards we use to guide our inspection process come from the theatrical equipment manufacturers themselves, technical theater trade associations, and our many years of working with professionals in the fields of architecture, engineering, and stage design.
The goal of the inspection is to gather information for you, create a report that is readable and sharable, and assist you in making decisions on which steps you may want to take next.
If your organization is required to have inspections on a particular schedule or to meet certain compliance obligations, we make sure everything that needs to be in the report is included.
Please contact us to request a sample report if you’d like to see what an inspection report for your venue might look like.
Typically the inspection will include Rigging Systems, Stage Lighting systems, Stage Drapery and Scenery, Fire Curtains, the stage itself, and building structural features. We also review conditions for worker access and safety, fall protection, and fire safety.
